Steve Ayika, a nightclub owner has been found dead alongside his girlfriend in Kano.

The two lovebirds were found lifeless inside a tinted vehicle that belongs to the club owner..

The girlfriend to the married club owner and father of two has been Identified as Chiamaka Emmanuel.

She was reportedly billed to wed sometime in December until her demise.

According to a police statement, they were found unresponsive and motionless inside Steve’s cars packed in front of Chiamaka’s apartment in the early hours of November 23 after a long night out.

The car which was locked from the inside when they were discovered.

Their phones were put off and found inside the vehicle when they were found.

The Police in an announcement on Thursday didn’t point out the reason for demise or whether or not there was any foul pay.

Ayika, 33, who owned Knite House in Kano, hailed from Ebu in Delta state.

An official report released by the spokesperson of the Kano State Police Command, DSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa read:

MAN, WOMAN FOUND MOTIONLESS IN A MOTOR VEHICLE

On the 23/11/2021 at about 0450hrs, a report was acquired {that a} automotive was sighted alongside Katsina Street, Fagge LGA Kano State with two (2) occupants, a male and a feminine immobile.

2. On receipt of the report, the Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Sama’ila Shu’aibu Dikko, fsi raised and instructed a crew of detectives to proceed to the scene.

3. The crew instantly rushed to the scene. Victims, a male and a feminine contained in the again seat of a Siena Motor Automobile had been eliminated and rushed to Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital Kano, the place a Medical Physician confirmed them lifeless.

4. On preliminary investigation, the male deceased was recognized as Steven Ayika, ‘m’, of Jaba Quarters Kano whereas the feminine deceased recognized as Chiamaka Emmanuel, ‘f’, of the identical tackle. Nonetheless, investigation is in progress.

It is yet to be ascertained if this is a murder or involuntary suicide
