Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has recounted a terrifying experience after part of the Plaster of Paris (POP) ceiling in her Lekki residence suddenly gave way.
Taking to her Instagram story on Monday, August 25, the actress posted videos showing large chunks of debris scattered across the car park section of her house. The incident reportedly happened at about 4 a.m. on Saturday.

Sharing her relief that no one was harmed, Nkechi wrote: “Come to Lekki, they said. Thank God it wasn’t inside the house and my new car wasn’t there… What would I have said, please? It’s well with you, Lekki developers ooo. This was 4 a.m. on Saturday.”
The short clips she uploaded revealed the damage caused by the collapse, with shattered ceiling pieces littering the ground and showing just how serious the incident was.
Security Operatives Thwart Armed Bandits’ Attack in Benue
Security forces in Benue State successfully repelled an armed bandits’ attack on Ukohol, a community in Yelewata district of Guma Local Government Area, on Sunday.
According to reports, the attackers stormed the village in what is believed to have been a retaliatory strike following the arrest of one of their members the previous day.
