Veteran Nollywood actor, Kanayo. O. Kanayo, has pleaded with President Muhammadu Buhari to release detained pro-Biafra agitator, Nnamdi Kanu.

Kanayo, in a video on his Instagram page, made the plea while celebrating his 60th birthday.

According to his post: “My dear president and father of the nation, Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, commander in chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I hope this message meets you well sir? My name is Kanayo O. Kanayo, I’m an actor and a lawyer, and I hold a national honour as a member of the Order of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
