The Nigeria National League (NNL) Mid-Season Transfer Window is officially open as they go on 2024/2025 break.

Mid-Season Break and Resumption Dates

The half-season hiatus will officially conclude on Thursday, March 20, 2025 and NNL shall return for the second phase of the 2024/2025 season from Friday, March 21, to Sunday, March 23, 2025, across all four conferences.

 

First Stanza of the NNL Season Concludes with Intense Competition

The first stanza of the 2025 NNL season wrapped up on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, with teams fiercely competing for the top spots in their respective groups.

 

Conference Standings After the First Stanza

Conference A: Crown FC is leading with 21 points and a +4 goal difference, closely followed by Warri Wolves in second place with 20 points and a superior +7 goal difference. Smart City of Lagos holds third position with 18 points and a +5 goal difference.

Conference B: Khun-Khalifa of Owerri tops the table with 25 points and a +7 goal difference. Osun United follows in second place with 22 points and the same goal difference. Solution Football Club is third with 17 points.

Conference C: Wikki Tourists of Bauchi are in first place with 13 points and a +7 goal difference. Mighty Jets are second with 11 points and a +3 goal difference, while Gombe United is in third with 9 points.

Conference D: Yobe Desert Stars of Damaturu lead the standings with 11 points, followed by Basira FC and Doma United, both with 10 points.

These standings highlight the ongoing fierce competition across all conferences as teams aim to secure top positions and advance in the season.

 

NNL Transfer Window: Deadline Approaching

The NNL transfer window is open, offering clubs the chance to reinforce their squads ahead of the resumption of the league. Clubs have until Wednesday, March 19, 2025, to finalize any transfers.

 

Qualification for NNL Super 8 Promotional Playoff

At the end of the season, the top two teams from each conference will qualify for the highly anticipated NNL Super 8 Promotional Playoff, where they will compete for a coveted spot in the topflight of Nigerian football.
