Media aide to the late former Governor of Oyo State, Adebayo Alao-Akala, has said the family of the deceased are yet to fix a date for his burial.

Alao-Akala died on Wednesday, 12th January, 2022.

Some media outlets had reported that the family fixed February 18 to bury the late politician.

But speaking on behalf of the former governor family, Tolu Mustapha, told Daily Post: “No. The family has not fixed the date for the burial.

“What they are saying, they are saying rubbish. We are yet to fix the date. We will make the official statement known to the public.

“Those who are writing that the date has been fixed just went ahead to write what they wish to write. We have not fixed the date”.
