Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has said leadership is temporary, stressing that no individual can remain in power indefinitely.

Wike made the remark on Saturday in Port Harcourt during a thank-you visit to supporters, where he reflected on the transient nature of leadership and power.

According to him, while he currently occupies a leadership position, the time will come when others will take their turn, noting that leadership follows a natural cycle ordained by God.

“Today, I am a leader. Tomorrow, it will be someone else’s turn. No one can be a leader forever. God will never allow that. Man comes, man goes. Everyone has a time and a season,” Wike said.

The former Rivers State governor expressed gratitude to residents of Port Harcourt for their continued support for the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

He urged the people of Rivers State to sustain their backing for President Tinubu, including supporting his re-election bid, highlighting what he described as the benefits the state has enjoyed under the current federal government.
