Nigeria’s First Lady, Aisha Buhari has stated that Nigerian Presidents will no longer need to travel abroad for medical treatment.
Aisha Buhari made the statement after the inauguration of the Presidential Wing of the State House Medical Centre, costing 21 billion naira.
The commissioning ceremony of the facility situated in the premises of Presidential Villa, Abuja took place on Friday, May 19.

According to her, she established the idea of the wing six years ago, after her husband, President Muhammadu Buhari’s extensive stay abroad for medical treatment.
The First Lady told State House correspondents that with the facility in place, Nigerian future Presidents and their family members would no longer need to go abroad for treatment.
She suggested that medical experts may only need to be flown in to assist their colleagues in the country.
