Nollywood actress Toluwani George has shared how she discovered her passion for acting while searching for direction in life, revealing that her role in the hit series Wura became the breakthrough that shaped her career.
Toluwani George, whose real name is Toluwanimi Osaile, said her journey into acting was not something she originally planned.

Speaking in an interview with Guardian Life, the 25-year-old actress explained that she discovered her passion for acting while trying different career paths.
According to her, she believes people should explore various opportunities until they find where they truly belong.
“I am a strong believer in trying different things (legal and moral) until you find your path in life. Acting was one of the things I tried, and that’s how I found my path,” she said.
George revealed that she grew up and received her education in Ibadan.
She later graduated from the University of Ibadan in 2020, where she studied Adult Education.
The actress also spoke about her cultural background, describing herself as biracial with a mix of Nigerian and Lebanese heritage.
“I am biracial with Lebanese genes mixed with the beautiful spice of Osun State,” she explained.
George said her role in the Showmax drama series Wura was the moment that confirmed she wanted to fully pursue acting.
She recalled receiving a call to audition for the long-running series and realizing that the opportunity would be a turning point in her career.
Despite the demanding schedule and long filming hours, she said she always felt energized once filming began.
“Even through the late nights and hectic shoot days, once the director called ‘action’, I was ready to deliver my best,” she said.
Toluwani George said the experience strengthened her commitment to the craft and encouraged her to keep pushing forward in the film industry.
With her growing recognition, the actress is gradually building a reputation as one of the promising young talents in Nollywood.
