Nollywood’s Paul Obazele Emerges ADC Candidate for Edo Guber Election

Nollywood veteran actor and director Paul Obazele has emerged as the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate in the upcoming Edo State governorship election scheduled for September 21.

The primary election took place on Friday in the Uselu axis of Benin City, with a notable presence of party faithfuls.

During the event, other aspirants for the position reportedly agreed to present Obazele as their flag bearer.

Officials from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) were present to observe the conduct of the primary election.

INEC officials described the election as well-conducted.

Obazele is now set to contend with other candidates in the race come September 21, 2024.
