Chelsea winger Noni Madueke is now ineligible to play for Nigeria after making his debut for England against Finland on Tuesday night.

Madueke, who came on in the 66th minute for Bukayo Saka with England leading 1-0, has solidified his place with the Three Lions.

The 22-year-old was included in England’s squad for the Nations League matches against Ireland and Finland, following his impressive start to the 2024/2025 season.

Noni Madueke has already netted four goals this season, including a strike in the 2-0 win over Servette in the UEFA Conference League play-off first leg and a hat-trick in Chelsea’s 6-2 victory over Wolves.
