Nigerian authorities have apprehended Reginald Peter Chidiebere, a notorious drug kingpin, following a large seizure of cocaine and heroin linked to him at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos.
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) had identified Chidiebere as a key player in a heroin shipment, leading to an operation at his hotel, Golden Platinum Hotel & Suites, where an additional 2.20 kg of heroin was recovered.

“We remain resolute in bringing all offenders to justice,” said the NDLEA Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Marwa.
The agency has also made other significant seizures, including dismantling a secret methamphetamine laboratory in Imo state and intercepting a Togolese woman with 5,000 tramadol pills at the Seme border.
