Bendel Insurance head coach, Monday Odigie has called on the Interim Management Committee, IMC, to make things easy for clubs in the Nigeria Professional Football League by making fixtures more flexible.
The NPFL is running on an abridged format this season with games being played on weekends and midweek.
Odigie made the comment after thier impressive win over Nasarawa Untied on Wednesday.

“It’s a difficult game for us today as we struggled from the beginning to the end – fatigue emanating from long journeys and congested fixtures are affecting the teams,” the former Golden Eaglets handler said at his post-match press conference.
“I do hope that those who run the league will consider the plights of the players.”
Odigie also reflected on the win against Nasarawa United.
“I’m thankful to God despite playing two difficult games in the space of four days,” he added.
“Nasarawa United are a tough side. They finished among the top six last season, and we thank God that the only chance we got, we converted.”
