NSCDC Foils Robbery, Recovers Stolen Vehicle In Osun | Daily Report Nigeria
  • Operatives of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, have successfully stopped an armed robbery.

  • The NSCDC, Osun State command, foiled the attack by a four-man gang in the Onibu-Eja community.

Men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Osun State division have successfully stopped a robbery attack in the state.

Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the attack, which was launched by a four-man gang saw the theft of a vehicle at gun point from a family in an house in Onibu-eja community, Osun State at about 3:25 am.

The statement reads,

Immediately the gang left, members of the community put a distress call to NSCDC, Osun State Command for assistance,” 

“The officers of the command on patrol swung into action and engaged the suspects in a gun duel. Faced with superior firepower the suspects fled leaving the stolen vehicle behind

“The stolen Toyota Corolla recovered has the chasis number; 1NXBU40E49Z005008 and is currently at Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps(NSCDC) Osun State. Discreet investigation has commenced to arrest the suspects and make them face the full wrath of the law.

The PRO also commended the swift response of the officers, while also sending a warning to all criminal in the state
