Ofougbene community in Burutu Local Government Area has sworn-in the Comrade Andrew Iyepade-led Executive Committee.
Daily Report Nigeria reports that the inauguration ceremony held on Saturday December 16 at the community town hall in Izon-Oborotu.
In his inaugural speech, Comrade Iyepade promised to “constantly strive for the upliftment of our people and community. It’s on this note l would want to make the following assertion.
“Our purpose of existence is to serve and impact humanity positively; It gives me immense joy in serving my people at any giver opportunity. Its worth to note that “power” is transient and it’s only the successes recorded during ones tenure that counts in time of test.

“The task is hage, thus, contributing my quota in advancing our course as a people and their over-all wellbeing is paramount.
“This government will do everything lawful and legal to protect our people, erritories/boundaries from our external invaders, because it defines our uniqueness, rich culture and history as a people.
‘In unity and harmony we will work progressively to make our community great,” he added.
