The Ogun State Government has sealed six companies across the state for breaching environmental regulations.

Among the affected establishments are Winwin Electrical Limited, Isichei Farms Limited, and Chafengei Nigeria Limited—all situated along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

Also sealed were Fortune Height Farms Limited in Odogbolu Local Government Area, Loly B and DA Ventures Limited in Ijebu-Ode, and Adventus Nigeria Limited, another company along the expressway.

According to the Ogun State Environmental Protection Agency (OGEPA), Adventus Nigeria Limited, a tube processing factory, was shut down for subjecting its workers to hazardous conditions and failing to provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Meanwhile, Isichei Farms Limited, a poultry feed producer, was penalized for disregarding a stop-work order.

The head of OGEPA reaffirmed the agency’s dedication to enforcing compliance with environmental laws to protect the health and safety of residents and workers in the state.

Akwa Ibom Police Arrest Seven Over Burglary, Recover Stolen Items

The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has arrested seven individuals in connection with a string of burglaries and thefts in Ifa Atai Village, located within the Uyo metropolis.

This development was disclosed in a statement on Thursday by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Timfon John, who confirmed that the arrests followed credible intelligence received by the command.
