Nigerian rap icon Olamide has returned with a fresh single titled Kai, enlisting the smooth vocals of Grammy-winning singer Wizkid.
Released on Tuesday across digital platforms, Kai sees Olamide deliver his signature blend of Yoruba and English lyrics, while Wizkid brings a soulful and rhythmic edge that complements the track’s laid-back vibe.
The duo exchange fluid verses over the mellow production, offering lines that stand out for their energy and imagery:
“Nothing is carved in stone / You know the night is young / I’m feeling good, I’m in my zone.
Roll me a fat big blunt / And àwọn t’emi tó bá wọlé (bàbá wọlé wá) / Don Perignon malati wole (hmmm) / Dorime dori like what? / Casamigo nlor / Abi, shey make I stop? / I’m so fly, my God! / Mr. Bombastic, Mr. Romantic.”
