Oleksandr Usyk Claims Undisputed Heavyweight Title with Victory over Tyson Fury

Oleksandr Usyk has become the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world after defeating Tyson Fury by split decision in Saudi Arabia.

Usyk is the first to hold this title since Lennox Lewis. The Ukrainian boxer delivered an impressive performance, nearly stopping Fury in the ninth round. However, Fury managed to hold on until the end.

The final scorecards read 115-112, 113-114, 114-113 in favor of Usyk after 12 rounds.

Usyk has now added the WBC title to his collection of WBA, IBF, and WBO belts.
