Itsekiri Billionaire, Ayiri Emami has said that the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III has no power to disrobe him.

Recall that the former prime minister to the late Olu of Warri has been under suspension prior to the coronation of the monarch.

Ayiri stated this while reacting to his disrobing as Ologbotsere by Ogiame Atuwatse III on Tuesday, October 5, in a ceremony in Warri.

Ogiame instructed followers of Ayiri and the people of Itsekiri Nation worldwide to stop addressing the billionaire as Ologbotsere.

However, the Olori-Ebi was empowered by the Olu to oversee activities of the Ologbotsere family henceforth.

Ayiri in his reaction stated that Ogiame Atuwatse has no power to dispose of him as Ologbotsere, as there was already a case in court challenging the process that made him Olu.

“He has no power to do so. I don’t recognise him as Olu of Warri. I’m already in court with him. I’ll take further action to tell the court to stop him from parading himself as Olu.

“I’m already challenging the processes that produced him but now I am consulting my lawyers to file a new motion stopping him from parading himself as our king”, Ayiri stated.

Speaking on the meeting between Ologbotsere family and the Olu, Ayiri said “he (Olu of Warri) invited the Ologbotsere family for meeting and my people honoured him where he made the pronouncement.

“He did not hear from his guests – Ologbotsere family. The family (Ologbotsere family) have agreed to meet on Thursday to review and take a position in this latest development. The meeting will hold in Warri.”
