Billionaire Chief Ayiri Emami has been removed as the Ologbotsere of Warri Kingdom.
Ayiri was stripped off the exalted titled by the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III during a ceremony on Sunday at the Olu Palace.
The development is coming less than 72-hours after a meeting between the Olu and Ayiri in what was believed to be a peace-building move.

The billionaire and politician had been summoned by the monarch two weeks ago to the palace for reported reconciliation processes.
At the end of the meeting on Friday, Ayiri had told supporters that the King called for a meeting with the entire Ologbotsere family to concretise the peace reconciliation move.
The peace meeting was spearheaded by foremost Itsekiri sons such as former governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, former Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria President, Papap Ayo Oritsejafor, former lawmaker, Daniel Reyenieju amongst others.
Daily Report Nigeria recalls that Ayiri was a strong opponent to the emergence of the incumbent Olu, leading to his derobing him and subsequent ban from the palace.
Olu replaces Ayiri with new Ologbotsere
However, at the end of the meeting on Sunday, Ayiri was replaced with
chief Oma Eyewuoma as the new Ologbotsere of the kingdom.
Chieg Eyewuoma (Chief Oma) is the Executive Vice President at Conoil Limited.
Report had it that the Olu pleaded with Ayiri to accept his late father’s title but he refused.
The monarch is said to have thanked him for all he has done for the Itsekiri kingdom before asking him to leave his Palace.
