Omah Lay, Tems Arrive Nigeria After Release From Police Custody in Uganda

Omah Lay and Tems have both arrived Nigeria following their arrest and arraignment to court in Uganda.

The duo were arrested after performing in The Big Brunch, a show which held at the Speke Resort, Wavamunno Rd, Kampala, Uganda.

They were charged to court for perpetrating acts that could cause the spread of Coronavirus.

Their arrival back to the country was announced by the Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa.

“Stanley Omah Didia (@Omah_Lay), Temilade Openiyi (@temsbaby), Muyiwa Ayoniyi and others just landed at the MMIA Lagos from Uganda via Ethiopia Airline at about 12:35 pm local time. We are glad they are finally home. All is well that ends well. Gratitude to our mission in Uganda and the @GovUganda for a quick resolution,” she tweeted.
