Omo-Agege, Olu of Warri, Others to Speak at Reform Summit in Delta

The Deputy Senate President of Nigeria, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege will lead faces of guest speakers at the Reform Summit 2022.

The one day event with the theme ‘From Street to Relevance’ also has the Olu of Warri, Atuwatse III as Emperor Patron.

The event is packaged by the founder of Youngpreneur Initiative and Global Leaders Book Club, Amb. Princess Onome.

According to the host, the Reform Summit is ‘an innovative exposure/reminder to young persons that they are major contributors to nation- building and can exercise their relevance through politics, leadership, entrepreneurship, talent, and skills regardless of their location or background.

“The youths are the pillars and the building blocks of the nation. Understanding how to become an effective leader will help in nation building.”

Onome stressed that “entrepreneurship is necessary in boosting the economic value of any country. This event will expose the mind of the youths on how they can become honourable entrepreneurs through empowerment and bring innovative ideas for the benefit of the nation.

“Youth involvement in political affairs of the nation is very pertinent. Through active participation, the youths are empowered to play a vital role in their own development as well as in that of their communities, helping them to learn vital life-skills, develop knowledge on human rights and citizenship and to nurture social interest.

“We hope to have a leadership academy that will be launched on the event day, were people will be groomed to become better leaders in our society.

“Also, there will be a pitch contest after the event. Here, youths with business ideas will pitch their businesses, and our initiative will be empowering 3 people with different business ideas to grow their businesses. On the event day, further announcements on this will be given.”

Other high-profiled expected guests speakers include renowned human rights activist cum politician, Harrison Gwamishu, Revd. Godwin Abba, lead pastor of Word Alive Centre and a political analyst, Mr. Josiah Omeruwoma.

Others are Dr. Michael Tidi Chairman Warri South Council and founder of Trendy Techies and digital transformational coach, Merab Tary Dorgu.

The event is billed for Saturday November 19, 2022 at the Cedar House in Warri, Delta State.
