Officials of the Amotekun Corps have apprehended couple suspected of being involved in series of shop break-ins and thefts in Akure, Ondo state Capital.

The arrest of the culprits, Adewale Olokungboye, 29, and Ngozi Kenneth, 33, led to the recovery of alleged stolen goods worth millions of naira.

While being paraded on Monday at the Amotekun Corps headquarters in Alagbaka, Akure, the husband said: “My wife was the one who broke into the shop. She was accompanied by Seun and Daniel during the odd hours of the night. My wife and I have been arrested in the past by SWAT in the state for stealing. But after that, I left her in Akure and went to Ado-Ekiti. This time around, I decided to come and check on the twins she had for me; that was how I was arrested with her.”
