The project was officially announced at a thanksgiving service held on Sunday at the National Christian Centre, Abuja, organised by Seyi Tinubu’s friends and coordinated by Hon. Belusochukwu Enwere, the National Chairman of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN).

According to the organisers, the Bibles will be distributed through churches and community groups to inspire moral transformation, ethical leadership, and civic responsibility among young Nigerians.
Hon. Enwere explained that the initiative is not a celebration of any individual but a national effort to restore values and character. “This one million Bible project is a seed of moral revival. We believe it will rekindle compassion, honesty, and love for humanity among young people,” he said.
The thanksgiving service, which was simultaneously observed in about 40 churches across Nigeria, featured prayers for national unity and moral rebirth.
Rev. Ini Ukpuho, Chaplain of the National Christian Centre, who led the event, offered special prayers for the Tinubu family and for Nigeria. Other clergymen described the initiative as timely, noting that it comes at a period when moral standards are rapidly declining.
