Police Place One Million Bounty On National Assembly Lawmaker Declared Wanted

The lawmaker representing the Bauchi federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Yakubu Shehu Abdullahi has been declared wanted by the Nigerian Police Force (NPF).

Mr Shehu is representing the Bauchi federal constituency on the platform of PRP but later defected to APC.

The Bauchi lawmaker was declared wanted by the security agency over criminal conspiracy, inciting disturbance of public peace, amongst others in the state.

The police in a special bulletin released on Monday by the State Criminal Investigation Department (S.C.I.D) of the NPF, placed one million Naira reward for anyone with useful information that may lead to his arrest.

According to the statement, the police asked anyone with useful information to contact the security agency or report at any nearest police station.

The bulletin released by the police reads: “CB: 2685/BSX/VOL.T/4 HON. YAKUBU ABDULLAHI SHEHU (WAKILIN BIRNI) ‘m’ 45YRS-OLD
“Last known address: Off Danjuma Goje street, Makama new extension, Jahun ward, Bauchi Local Government, Bauchi State.

“The above person is hereby declared wanted by the Nigeria Police on CRO Form 5, issued by the Inspector General of Police.

“He is wanted in connection with a case of Criminal Conspiracy, Causing grievous hurt, Inciting Disturbance of Public Peace and Culpable Homicide.

“Anyone with information that could assist in his arrest should please contact; 08151849417 or report at any nearest Police Station.”
