Lauretta Onochie, President Muhammadu Buhari’s aide on new media, has described as fake news the reports that the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami has resigned.

Recall that Daily Report Ng reported that Malami declared his intention to contest for Kebbi state governorship race

On Thursday, several reports on social media had it that the minister of Justice resigned to contest for Kebbi governorship election.

But reacting, Lauretta wrote on Twitter: “ FAKE NEWS ALERT:

The Information making the rounds, that the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister Of Justice, Mr. Abubakar Malami [SAN], has resigned, is totally FALSE.”
