Reactions, As Ooni Of Ife Unveils Golden Statue Of First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu

• The Ooni of Ife has bestowed an honor upon the first lady of Nigeria, as he erects a golden statue of her.

• The monarch unveiled the statue during a ceremony at the Obafemi Awolowo University.

The monarch of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has honored tge fuest lady of Nigeria, Oluremi Tinubu, as he unveils a statue of her.

Speaking during a grand ceremony at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Osun State, the Ooni described the first lady as a “virtuous woman”

He said

“A golden statue is erected to immortalise her virtuous personality and to showcase the strength of a teacher, mother, and wife at the very heart of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.

“The biggest hostel and pavilion in the history of Obafemi Awolowo University, which bears her name, represent her efforts to create spaces for learning, development, and empowerment for all.”
