Former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Adoke, says he has forgiven all individuals involved in his years-long legal battle over the controversial OPL245 oil block deal.
Adoke made the declaration on Thursday in Abuja during the public presentation of his memoir titled “OPL245: Inside Story of the $1.3 Billion Nigerian Oil Block.”
“This book is not written to denigrate or mock anyone. It is to tell my story — the truth as I lived and experienced it,” Adoke said.

The former minister, who served under President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration, stressed that the purpose of the book was to clarify his role in the widely publicised oil transaction, which triggered investigations and prosecutions at home and abroad.
Adoke has faced years of intense scrutiny over the deal, one of Nigeria’s most controversial oil block transactions.
