Orji Uzor Kalu, Chief Whip of the Senate, says the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has the political future of the country’s southeast.
In a post on his verified Facebook page on Saturday, the former governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu, urged APC members in the region to stay in the party, claiming that the majority will always have their way in elections.
The lawmaker urged Nigerians who are experiencing difficulties as a result of the current economic realities to be patient.

He expressed hope that the country’s situation would improve and urged supporters of President Muhammadu Buhari to remain loyal.
In today’s Nigerian politics, the future of the South-East geopolitical zone is in the hands of the All Progressives Congress,” the post says (APC ). This is why I have continued to encourage all APC members in Abia State to stay in the party and refrain from leaving.
The reality is that in any democratic setting, the majority will always win. Furthermore, President Muhammadu Buhari’s signing of the electoral act has given Nigerians assurance that one man cannot win elections.
“Those who believe in the party and Mr. President are encouraged to remain loyal to the party and support its overall growth.”
