Osinbajo Mourns Famous Shoemaker, OJ Best

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has mourned the passing of 28-year-old famous shoemaker, Ojima Omale, popularly known as OJ Best.

OJ Best died at the weekend.

In a statement on Monday, the VP said he was deeply saddened by the demise of the “young enterprising shoemaker and friend”.

According to Osinbajo: “I never ceased to be impressed by his exertions for perfection in his products.

“I and many members of my team, for whom he also made shoes, will miss him, his services and unfailing good humour.

“Our thoughts are with his family as we pray that God will comfort them. May his memory remain blessed. Amen.”

The deceased will be buried in his hometown Ijessi-Igo, Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State on Thursday.
