Portable, a fast-rising singer, has apologised to Davido
over their conflicting interests during the Osun State gubernatorial election on July 16.
During the election, Portable backed Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC), while Davido supported Ademola Adeleke, his uncle who eventually won the poll.
Portable, thereafter, claimed that ‘Fem’ crooner unfollowed him on Instagram over his support for Oyetola.

He had said;
“Once again, my father is not a rich man. I come from the trenches but managed to bring my family into wealth. So support who support you. They wasted no time in unfollowing us.”
In a new development, Portable via Instagram asked Davido to forgive him.
“Accept your pass without regrets handle your present with confidence face your future without fear…Akoi apologies to @davido. We no get any issue. Akoi loyalty. Won ti settle eh,” he wrote in a mixture of English and Yoruba.
His apology came after Olabode Thomas-Fagbayi, the Onitigbo of Tigbo-Ilu, instructed him to beg Davido over his behaviour during the election.
This, again, followed Portable’s naming as the Amuludun of Tigbo-Ilu (a land in Ado-Odo/Ota LGA, Ogun) by Thomas-Fagbayi.
