Adeleke: ‘Should We Send Fuel Money’ Davido Drags INEC Over Certificate of Return

Superstar singer, Davido has called out the Independent National Electoral Commission over a delay in presenting his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke his certificate of Certificate Return.

Davido made the call over 48 hours after Adeleke emerged winner of the Osun state governorship election.

Davido, penned this via a Twitter post on Tuesday, July 19, 2020.

“48hrs after our @AAdeleke_01 victory at the Osun Gubernatorial elections, we are yet to receive our certificate,” he said.

The singer asked if INEC needed money for fuel to foster the issuing procedure.

“@inecnigeria should we send you fuel money?
LOL”

Davido then urged the body to do the issuing as required by Nigerian law.

“Please no one should tamper with the will of the Osun People! Issue the certificate as required by Law!,” he again said.

Senator Adeleke Ademola was declared winner of the Osun governorship election which held on Saturday in the state.

The Dancing Senator defeated incumbent governor, Gboyega Oyetola and others to clinch victory.
