“On the successful burial of our beloved mother, we return all the glory to the Almighty God who made it possible for a hitch free burial processes beginning from the day of service of songs to the final burial rites. Indeed, He deserves all the praises and adoration for His love and mercy upon us.

“We cannot forget in a hurry the love showered on us by relatives, friends and well wishers during our moment of need. We’re eternally grateful for your uncommon love and concerns to us.

“For your various commitments, concerns, dedication and contributions to make the entire burial processes a success, we can’t thank you enough. It’s our earnest prayer that may the good Lord bless and replenish your efforts.

“We lost count of the thousands of persons in number who personally or logistically grace the occasions.

“Permit us in no particular order to acknowledge the cream of eminent personalities who graced the occasions, ranging from political associates, professional colleagues, academia, business tycoons, top government functionaries from across the Country, the leadership of the INC and the IYC, Students’ organisations, family members, etc.

“We recognize and commend the presence, commitments and contributions of the Governments of Delta and Bayelsa States, the Pere of Tuomo Kingdom, HRM, Justice, F. F. Tabai (JSC as he then was) and his Traditional Council of Chiefs, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo (aka Tompolo) and members of the Ekpemupolo’s family amongst others too numerous to mention.

“Your contributions one way or other have made the entire burial processes a success. May God bless you all.”
