Governor of Ondo state, Rotimi Akeredolu has expressed his disappointment at the constant state of insecurity that has befallen the country.
Speaking during the opening of the ongoing Attorneys-General of the 36 States, the Chairman of the Southern Governors Forum weighed in on the recent killing at a catholic church in Owo, Ondo state.
He also spoke on the Inability of the police team to mobilise to the scene of the attack, which they blamed on the non-availability of vehicles. Akeredolu asked the Police to “close shop” if the Federal Government could not meet its equipment needs.

The Governor also challenged states to restructure the country by, among others, setting up their own anti-graft agencies.
Akeredolu said;
“The Police have failed.
“We will carry arms very soon. Oga Malami. There is no other way.”
