The National Publicity Secretary of the ljaw National Congress (INC), Engr Chief Ezonebi Oyakemeagbegha, has commended the lawmaker representing the Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency, Nicholas Mutu, for prioritizing the health and welfare of his constituents.

Oyakemeagbegha said this while reacting to the 6-day medical outreach, organised by the lawmaker across communities in the constituency.

In an interactive session with newsmen, the Ijaw leader stated that the outreach will go a long way in solving some of the health challenges these communities are passing through.

He thanked the lawmaker for the gesture and charged other public officials in Ijaw nation to drive people-oriented policies and initiatives.

The outreach facilitated by Mutu in conjunction with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria and Veekites global services, held for two days each in Akugbene, Bomadi and Patani communities between September 5 – 10, 2024.
