An Oyo monarch, the Oloko of Oko, Oba Gbariel Adepoju is dead

The monarch reportedly died in the early hours of Sunday, January 30, at the age of 85.

Oba Adepoju ascended the throne of his fathers in the year 1997

Until his death, he ruled over Oko Ile town, in Orire Local Government, Oyo State.

Three prominent monarchs in Oyo state have passed on between December 2021 and January 2022.
