“Dr. Dennis Otuaro has performed extremely well. We should be grateful for what he is doing for Niger Delta through PAP,” he said, insisting that the administrator’s reforms are impactful and should be supported.

He criticised those attacking Otuaro, accusing them of engaging in smear campaigns to pressure public officials for financial benefits.

“We completely condemn the derogatory statements, attacks and blackmail from people who barely play any role in the Niger Delta struggle,” Ozobo stated.

The activist specifically called out Cletus Okwalekeme, accusing him of seeking attention and urging the public to disregard his comments.

Ozobo further expressed concern that some elders in the region were placing personal interests above collective development, describing such actions as “shameful.”

He, however, advised Otuaro to remain focused and not be distracted by criticism, urging him to continue implementing reforms under the Amnesty Programme for the benefit of the Niger Delta region.
