….Urges Clark, Tompolo, Ateke, Boyloaf, Ajube, others to call PAP Boss to order

Ex-agitators of the Niger Delta region have vehemently revolted against the new condition for all intending students to sit for the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination to be considered for admission into any higher institution as beneficiaries of the Presidential Amnesty Program.

The aggrieved repentant agitators in what they described as utter sabotage and a deliberate attempt to thwart the genuine efforts of the Federal Government to restore permanent peace in the Niger Delta, stated that the new move by Gen. Miland Dikkio will not stand the test of time.

They insists that the move could lead to anarchy and chaos in the oil rich region.

The ex-agitators under the aegis of the Refined Niger Delta Militants (RNDM,) comprising of all former militants in phase 1,2 and 3 across the nine (9) Niger Delta states, raised the alarm on Sunday March 7, 2021 after an emergency meeting at Machiva Hotel Warri, Delta state.

They warned for Gen Dikkio to immediately deploy them to the various universities the federal government is partnering with to train them academically within the next one week, or expect an unusual protest that will crumble the nation’s economy.

In statement signed by the Coordinator of the group, Gen. Alabeni Otobo, the group stressed that about 95% of the ex-agitators of are illiterates and they want to go to school in order to contribute positively to build a better Nigeria as a country, saying the new condition is nothing but a ploy to deprive them of their right to study, having dropped arms to embrace the Presidential Amnesty Programme in 2009 for peace to reign in the country.

They maintained that Dikkio and his advisers should follow the laid down procedures by deploying them within a week, or be held accountable of whatever happens at the expiration of the ultimatum.

They called on the federal government and security operatives to hold the Interim Management responsible for any breach of peace in the region.

They further draw the attention of the interim management to note that their engagement is to serve the interest of the ex-agitators of the Niger Delta region and not to impose unnecessary conditions that will jeopardize the peace of Nigeria.

The group appealed to ljaw National Leader, Pa. E.K. Clark, Minister of State for Petroleum, Chief. Timipre Sylva, Ex-Bayelsa state Governor, Hon Sen. Henry Seriake Dickson, Niger Delta former warlords, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo, HRM. King Ateke Tom, Gen. Boyloaf Ebikabowei Victor Ben, High Chief. Bibopere Ajube aka ‘Shoot At Sight’, Gen. Fara Dagogo, lYC President, Comr Dcn. Timothy Igbifa and all South South governors to call Mr. Dikkio to order before things get out of hand.
