Egypt advanced after a dramatic 5-4 penalty shootout win over Paraguay, which had ended 1-1 in regular time. France moved on with a narrow 1-0 victory against Argentina.

Meanwhile, Spain secured a 3-0 win over Japan, and Morocco triumphed 4-0 against the USA.
The semi-finals are scheduled as follows:
- Morocco vs. Spain on Monday at 5 p.m.
- France vs. Egypt on Monday at 8 p.m.
