Paris Saint-Germain Set to Lose Kylian Mbappe in Summer Transfer Window

According to reports from Soccernet.ng, Ligue 1 powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain is on the verge of losing their star forward, Kylian Mbappe, this summer.

Mbappe has been a key figure at PSG since his arrival in 2017 from Monaco, initially on loan and then permanently for a staggering €180 million the following year.

During his seven-year tenure in Paris, Mbappe has established himself as one of the world’s top players, clinching numerous club and individual honors. He has lifted the Ligue 1 title five times, the Coupe de France thrice, the Coupe de la Ligue twice, and the Trophée des Champions three times. Additionally, Mbappe played a crucial role in guiding PSG to the UEFA Champions League final in 2020.

Despite PSG’s desire to retain Mbappe for the long term, the 25-year-old’s contract is set to expire this June, allowing him to depart the club on a free transfer.

Real Madrid is reportedly Mbappe’s preferred destination, a move that would leave PSG with a significant void in their attacking lineup.

However, PSG is prepared to invest heavily to secure a quality replacement for Mbappe. According to reports from the Athletic (via Tutto Napoli), Victor Osimhen is at the top of PSG’s transfer wishlist as the ideal candidate to lead their attack next season.

Osimhen has showcased his prowess in Italy, consistently scoring double-digit goals in each of his four Serie A seasons. His standout performance came last season, where he netted an impressive 26 goals to help Napoli clinch their first Scudetto title in over three decades.

Despite facing competition from Premier League giants Chelsea and Arsenal, PSG remains determined to secure Osimhen’s signature in the upcoming transfer window.
