A pastor in Abia state has bagged a sentence after being convicted of rape.
Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the accused, identified as Uche Arua Kalu, a 40-year-old pastor was alleged to have defiled a girl.
This happened in Amaogudu Abiriba, Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State

The court, which one as presided by Magistrate Onuoha U.C. found the defendant guilty, after the prosecuting counsel, as well as the IPO tendered facts and witnesses.
Pastor Uche contradicted himself, after feigning ignorance of his crime, after his previous guilty plea in December 20, 2024.
While also creating a scene at the court house, the defendant fell on his knees, as he pleads for Mercy from the court, adding that he is scared of a life sentence.
After careful analysis of all evidence, the judge found Uche guilty, and he was subsequently sentenced to 10 years Imprisonment, starting from March 7, 2025.
