Veteran Nollywood actor Patrick Doyle recently praised his ex-wife, Ireti, as an exemplary mother. In an interview with Olumide Iyanda, QEDNG’s publisher, Patrick expressed that he harbors no ill feelings toward Ireti after their divorce.
The 63-year-old actor also addressed a Facebook post from 2018 that seemed like an apology to Ireti. He clarified, “Ireti is a first-class mother and provider for her children. She is taking good care of my daughter. How can I wish her ill? As far as mothers go, they don’t come any better. She provides 360-degree mothering care.”
Patrick Doyle further explained that as the man of the house, it was his duty to address any unhappiness, aiming to ease tensions.

Patrick and Ireti married in 2004, but the actress confirmed their divorce in 2023. The couple has five children together.
