Former England midfielder Paul Gascoigne, collapsed at his Dorset home and was rushed to hospital.

Found semi-conscious by friend Steve Foster, he was treated in intensive care and is now stable in a general ward.

The 58-year-old earned 57 caps between 1988 and 1998 and was a key figure in England’s memorable 1990 World Cup run.
His club career included spells at Burnley, Middlesbrough and Everton, plus a later stint in China before retiring in 2004.
Foster shared Gazza’s gratitude:
