The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has rejected the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) Judgement on Wednesday, September 6.
The PDP said it would fully consider the PEPC’s ruling before deciding on its next course of action.
In a statement by PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba the party upheld the court’s verdict falls short of the facts and evidence presented to a panel of five judges.
The opposition party also argued that the Court’s decision contains as much technical detail as it was allegedly lacking in substantive case law.

According to it, the Court’s decision was not subject to relevant electoral laws, guidelines, and regulations, and alleged that it violated the 1999 Constitution.
It further called on Nigerians to remain calm and united as the PDP continued to lead in defending democracy and the will of the people expressed in the February 25, 2023 elections.
