However, the visit reportedly took an unexpected turn when he arrived at the palace of the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo.
In a video currently circulating on social media, a voice believed to be that of a palace chief could be heard expressing dissatisfaction with how the streamer and his team entered the palace premises.
According to the voice heard in the clip, the manner in which Peller, his entourage, and his associate Tunde Perry approached the palace was considered inappropriate for such a respected traditional institution.
The chief reportedly reprimanded the group while questioning their conduct.
As the situation became tense, other palace chiefs were said to have stepped in to address the matter.
They reportedly informed the content creator that the monarch would not be granting him an audience and instructed him and his team to leave the palace immediately.
Sensing the seriousness of the situation, Peller quickly exited the palace premises, urging members of his crew to follow him as the atmosphere grew increasingly tense.
The development has since attracted widespread reactions online, with many social media users debating whether proper protocols were followed before the palace visit.
The incident comes only a few days after another controversy involving the streamer in Benin City.
At the time, the Benin Traditional Council reportedly declared Peller wanted for allegedly visiting the palace without prior approval.
However, his management team denied the allegation, insisting that all necessary procedures had been followed before the visit.
The latest development in Abeokuta has further fueled discussions about the importance of observing traditional protocols when visiting royal palaces in Nigeria.
