Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has noted that Arsenal’s center-back duo, William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes, will be “focused” on containing Erling Haaland during their upcoming match on Sunday.
Haaland was unable to score against Arsenal in their two Premier League encounters last season, and Guardiola anticipates another tough challenge for his in-form striker at the Etihad.
“Saliba and Gabriel are incredibly focused on Haaland,” Guardiola told reporters. “It’s not just a one-on-one; it can be two against one, or even three against one. That’s what makes it tough to attack them.”
