Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, has acknowledged that their past success in Premier League title races gives them a leg up over Arsenal in this season’s title chase.

As the weekend’s games approach, Arsenal leads the Premier League table with 80 points, just one point ahead of Manchester City, who still have a game in hand.

Arsenal is set to play Bournemouth in the early fixture, while Guardiola’s team will face Wolves at home.

Guardiola has urged his players to secure all 12 points available in their remaining games this season.

“I hope our experience in title races gives us an edge over Arsenal,” Guardiola said. “We know we need to win and get all 12 points from our remaining matches; otherwise, it will be tough because Arsenal are very strong. It all comes down to us.”
