Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has reignited speculation about his future at the Premier League club.

Guardiola, who joined City in 2016, has won the league title six times in the last eight seasons. During Sunday’s open-top bus parade, he faced an awkward moment when asked to stay “forever.”

A fan asked: “At the start of next season, you will be the Premier League’s longest-serving manager. Would you just stay forever, please? Can we just get you to stay forever?”

Guardiola laughed and replied: “Forever?!”

Following City’s 2-1 defeat to Manchester United in the FA Cup final, reports suggest that Guardiola plans to leave when his current contract expires in June 2025.
