Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has stated that he will only renew his contract if it feels right for both him and the team.

Guardiola’s current contract runs until 2025. While on City’s preseason tour in the USA, he suggested he might consider extending his stay at the Etihad Stadium.

He acknowledged, “I know I might not have been clear when we won the Premier League, but I’ve been at City for eight years, and I’m not planning to stay for another eight. So, I’m closer to leaving than staying, but I haven’t decided yet.”

Pep Guardiola emphasized, “I’m not ruling out extending my contract. I just want to be sure it’s the right decision for both myself and the club.”
