Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, expressed his satisfaction at seeing star midfielder Kevin de Bruyne displaying emotions during their recent match.

De Bruyne’s frustration was evident when he was substituted in the 69th minute of the game against Liverpool, especially with City struggling to maintain control. The Belgian made his feelings known to Guardiola before taking his place on the bench.

In a highly anticipated clash, Manchester City ended up drawing 1-1 with Liverpool on Sunday, intensifying the battle for the Premier League title this season.

During the post-match press conference, Guardiola was asked about De Bruyne’s reaction to being substituted. In response, the Spaniard commented, “I’m happy to see that! I like it if he’s upset, it’s good. He’s happy now…”

The draw meant that Arsenal retained their position at the top of the table with 64 points, edging out Liverpool by virtue of a superior goal difference and maintaining a one-point lead over Manchester City.
