Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has revealed that he stays away from all social media platforms. In an interview with Sky Sports, the renowned Spanish coach explained why he prefers to keep his digital presence minimal.
Guardiola, widely regarded as one of the most successful managers in football history, has achieved remarkable milestones throughout his career.
He became only the second manager in English football to win a treble, following in the footsteps of Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United.
He also made history by becoming the first manager to win four consecutive Premier League titles during the 2023-24 season.
Despite his high profile, Guardiola admitted he avoids social media and even common communication apps. “No, I don’t have WhatsApp. I don’t like emails or WhatsApp, none of that stuff… I just have a phone,” he explained.
Pep Guardiola added, “No TikTok, no Twitter, no Instagram, zero. It’s just my phone and messages. I don’t want to be bothered.”
